Thanks to everyone who showed up on Sunday for my first run in the Sami, and my first run of 2000 (well since Rock Crawl '99 really). Probably the first time I've been out and there's only been one Jeep.....thanks Al, I was getting a little worried for a while there (Toy x 4, Zuk x 2, Chev x 1, Jeep x 1).
Now that
I've mildly embarrassed you, maybe you'll do it! |
BTW, if your buddy doesn't help you with the overloaders on the Toy, just give me a buzz and let me know when you have an afternoon and we'll take care of those too. Next time I'll have to bring a camera. I really must pick up a cheapy and leave it in the rig at all times! Can you say garage sale....speaking of which I need a new CB, since I gave mine to ReMy. Maybe I can find another $2 special. The Zuk certainly isn't as capable as my Jeep, but I don't see it taking much to change that. I'll be working on my lift idea soon, and I'll be looking at different gearing solutions to fit my 31's on there so I won't fry my clutch. Let's see......3/16" angle iron rocker protectors, 2" shackle lift, 2" spring hanger extension, CJ springs for ?" lift, fender Hack&Wack (tm), t-case skid plate, tow hooks, long travel shocks (I've got a bunch of very tall shock towers that might fit), custom dash section for switches, CB, stereo, gauges, beefed steering-rods, chained engine mounts, high-lift mount, ammo box tool kits mounted to the fender wells.....what am I missing? Anyone have access to a decent drill press that I could use for the rocker protectors and shackles? jo-jo
