Well it's been a while since I have written a trail report. Partly because I haven't had the energy or time to do it lately, and partly because it's hard to come up with noteworthy experiences when you are running the same trails all the time. This weekend, we ran a trail I haven't run in five or six years, and it was a bit of an adventure so I thought it was time to get back into trip report mode. Where to start? Well, the previous weekend, we had our third annual Nightmare Run. Much thanks to Tim Johnston for taking care of organizing this one, and trail selection etc. That run was a blast, I think we had about 25 trucks by the end of the night. That's the most we've had for a Nightmare Run so far. Next year we will split ourselves into two groups, stock/near stock and modified. Anyway, Nightmare was so much fun, Lee Scott Kolbuck decided to have a run the following weekend named Reverse Nightmare. The problem here is whenever "nightmare" is part of the name of a run, it literally turns into a nightmare. Well to start off, we gathered at one of the usual meeting spots, the A&W in Sooke. Some IRC members were gathered there as well, off to do an insane trail named R.I.P. I'm sure I'm going to forget someone here, but I'll try to remember who went on the run: Lee
