What are 4 wheeling enthusiasts of BC going to do without Rock Crawl? It's like the NHL without Lord Stanley's cup. NFL with no Super Bowl? McDonalds with no Big Mac?

Island4x4 is by no means as organized as the Island Rock Crawlers; there's no access to funds except for what comes out of our own pockets, there are no committees to partake in the planning of events, no monthly meetings other than the odd Pub Nights, usually organized by our own Sweet Diva. So for us to semi-organize something like Trail Jam, it's a pretty big deal.

Where to start?? Hmmm…

Truck preparation, I would guess. Without going into huge detail, I ended up having to take my 3rd member out of my truck to try and diagnose some noises I was getting, that I didn't particularly like. Well, since I had to take it out anyways . . . Can ya see where this is going yet?? Right! Enter Fozzy. I figured that I might as well have Wayne Foster do his Fozzy Locker for my rear carrier.

It was fever. Jo caught the bug; soon after mine was done he was pulling his 3rd member 3 days before the event! I just don't think he wanted to let me have all the fun this weekend.

Pre-Trail Jam prep also included the making of the official Island4x4.com Rock Monkey T-Shirts, headed and fully implemented by Cara Duffield. The design of the Gorilla driving the 4x4 was by our own artiste, Brett.

With a little prodding of the troops, Cara was able to collect enough money for over 90 T-shirts! Mostly because weenies like me had to have multiple shirts in different colors . . .ya know, one for each day of the week? Also, some extras were made, in case people needed extras, or newbies were on hand etc.
