Welcome to Tire&Wheel 4x4Tech!

Choosing tires and wheels for four wheeling is an important and potentially expensive decision to make. Often a tire purchase can be the most important and useful first modification. Choosing a proper off-road tire can not only increase traction but ground clearance as well. Installing larger tires can also improve your ability to drive over large rocks and other obstacles on the trail.

This section will attempt to help you make the right decision based on your truck, type of four wheeling, and other factors.

If you have tire and wheel tech info, tips or tricks, please send your information to jojo@island4x4.com.

We will consider all submissions and give full credit to those articles we decide to use.
